Frederick W. Bancroft photographic album and correspondence.

Vacation photographs, probably made by Bancroft, during a visit with the Heard Family in 1910. Many photographs of the interior, exterior, and grounds of Casa Blanca, the Heard's home; many show objects that would become part of the Heard Museum's permanent collections. A few scenes of cattle and palms. Many other views of local sights, including desert landscapes, Papago Park, and ostriches. A trip along the Apache Trail includes Mormon Flats, masons working on Roosevelt Dam construction, and the cliff dwellings at Tonto National Monument. Canals include the Cross Cut, the San Francisco, Tempe and others. Two views of the burning of the Adams Hotel, and the Indian Boys Band. A few portraits of the Heard family and of Bancroft.

1 album, album p., loose prints (374 photographic prints, chiefly silver gelatin); correspondence.
